Identity verification isn't a separate product — it's a checkpoint every webcam-based exam runs through before the exam itself starts, whether the exam is proctored by AI or by a live person. The participant presents an accepted document to the camera, it's matched against the person taking the exam, and the session only proceeds once that check clears.
What counts as an accepted document isn't fixed platform-wide — ID cards, passports, driver's licences and residence permits are the default set, but the exam provider decides what to require for a given exam. A university running low-stakes practice tests might accept anything with a photo; a certification body issuing a professional licence might restrict it to a government-issued ID only. That configuration travels with the exam, not with the participant, so the same person can face different document rules depending on which exam they're sitting.
