Student FAQ


Depending on how your institute set up the exam, you will get an email or you will see a session link in the interface of your institute´s learning system.

Before you get the actual session link, you have to go through a pre session system check.

Once you completed the check, the session link will be sent / activated.

Please contact your institute / the service you´ve booked your exam at.

We don´t have any acces on exam content or results.

When you open a session link before your scheduled start time, you will see a countdown, based on your local time zone.

We don´t have influence on your scheduled start time. If you don´t agree with the scheduled time, please contact your institute / the service you´ve booked your exam at.

NOTE: The start time of your session is not the start time of your exam. The time of your exam starts when you start answering the questions in the exam tool that is connected to your session.

You can´t take the exam itself on a mobile device.
But your institute may set a second camera as mandatory for your exam. A mobile device will be used as the second camera in this case.

You will see in your pre session system check, if a mobile device (= second camera) is required for your exam.

We support devices with Android 5.1 + and iOS 10.0 +.
NOTE: We don´t support Huawei P30, Samsung Galaxy A3 and Google Pixel 3 and newer.

You need to use Google Chrome or a browser that supports Chrome extensions, like latest versions of Microsoft Edge.

We recommend a stable connection with a minimum upload speed of 1,5 Mbps.

You can check your connection in a speedtest, for example on speedtest.net.

Please don´t use VPN connections, as they regulary restrict the necessary streaming connections and lead to errors.

Depending on the restrictions, your network might block the access to some required ressources.

Make sure you have the permission to

  • add browser extensions,
  • visit all pages of our system and the system of the connected exam tool,
  • allow access on your microphone and webcam.

If you are not sure about this, please contact your responsible admin.

We support all operating systems that can run the required browser.

This includes most versions of Windows, MacOS and Linux.

The recordings are deleted as determined by the institute.
We don´t have influence on the deletion period.

Please contact the respsonsible institute / the service you´ve booked the exam at to get information about the deletion period of your recordings.

In most of the exams, there will be an identification step.
You need a valid and official identification document here.

The allowed material is individually set by the responsible institute for every exam.
